Claimed to be from the Ontario Business Development Office and addressed me by my company name. Asked if I had found a place to move to yet. As I am not looking to move, I sussed it as a telemarketing call and asked them to put me on a do-not-call list. He insisted on knowing why. I told him I was not obliged to give him that info but that he was obliged to put me on the list. He insisted two more times and I hung up. Seconds later, the phone rang again with the same number. When I picked up, the caller hung up. Seconds later, the phone rang again from the same number. This time a woman asked for me by name. I acknowledged and she asked if I was sure. I said "Who is this?" and she hung up. Harassment plain and simple.

Yep, it is an auto-dialer somewhere in London, Ontario. I'm on the DNC list and they still call. SCAMMER!

This caller left a harassing message on my home phone number and said I had 24 hours to contact them back, that they would be serving me with papers between 9 - 2 today. They have obtained my sister's cell number who is an amputee and in a nursing home and have continued to harassed her with numerous phones calls and threats. I do not know how they obtained her cell phone number or my home phone number. When I called them back I got a man who advised this was a matter from 1994 and the papers would be served and I had better be home to receive them. I attempted to let them know I was returning their call and he begin screaming and claiming I called him. I have never heard of these people and would like to know my legal options in this situation. I have received 2 of these calls so far today. When I called the number back, I get a recording saying that the number is not inservice. This may be a violation of the federal telecommunications act.

i called them back - it rang several times then stopped. I stayed on the line because it didnt disconnect me. Eventually it started ringing again and someone answered. I asked what they wanted and said i was on the do not call list. she said it doesnt matter if i am on the do not call list because they arent telemarketers and it doesnt apply to them. WTF??? She said they would take me off their list within 24 hours and was a total witch about it with an attitude i didnt like. I blocked the phone number by way of my phonecompany anyway because i dont believe she did it. Bunch of JERKS!!!

He is calling from the US Justice Dept. my name was given as a referral and I am liable for whatever is going on with the person that provided my name

Never leaves message but calls all day!

I received a call from this number and thought it might a friend from TX. I looked in my address book and it was not their numbers. I looked the number up on reverse phone lookup and it is an unlisted number.

Call to my phone 3-5 times/day and hang up when I answer and never leave message.
